Example project

International symposium «Rebuilding a place to call home» / PBL Netherlands

About the project on the PBL

The New Housing Policy team conducted research, organised an international symposium, and created an expert report based on it in collaboration with the leading environmental agency PBL in the Netherlands.

The symposium brought together Ukrainian experts and international organizations, including those from the Netherlands, representatives of the government, the banking sector, and the European Commission. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest research in the housing and land policy field in Ukraine, best global practices in housing fund financing and management, and innovative reform implementation models.

The final report from the symposium, edited by our team, included examples and conclusions from presentations, materials, illustrations, and a section of policy recommendations. The report was presented in collaboration with key recovery stakeholders (IOM, World Bank, UNDP, EIB, Council of Europe Development Bank, Cedos, New European Bauhaus, and Housing Europe).
